The Purpose:

This blog is to archive my journey through the technological universe! I am embarking on learning the most up-to-date technology for the purpose of using it in my future classroom. As a Master's student in Secondary English Education, I want to know all that I can about technology and maximizing its potential in my classroom. I am sure there will be some bumps in the road, but I am very excited and look forward to sharing with you the technological wisdom I (hopefully) acquire!

First Blog!

My name is Mariannina DeRosa-Morris. This is my first blog ever! I graduated in May 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and a minor in Art History. During my year off, I decided that I want to be a high school English teacher! I have such a passion for this subject, and I want to share this with young people, especially Freshmen. I participated in the Project Grad program the last two summers as an English teacher, and it really sparked my interest. I will be interning next fall, and hopefully completing my Master's Program in May 2012.
